“Two Views,” hosted by the South Pasadena Arts Council and featuring the paintings of artists Shauneen Bell and Gillian Gough, opens Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the SPARC Gallery in South Pasadena with a reception from 3 to 6 p.m. The exhibition will run through March 11, 2023.

The works of plein air artist Shauneen Bell, whose boat often serves as her studio, reflect her fascination with “the convergence of land and sea. Every season and time of day bring new colors, forms and shadows,” she reflects.

Oil painter and watercolorist Gillian Gough’s work “incorporates blended colors and brush strokes to communicate the hidden details…and beauty in ordinary things.”

(Masks are recommended.) Following Saturday’s opening, Gallery hours will vary. To schedule a visit, contact Blue Trimarchi at (626) 676-4195.
