With smiles and an enthusiastic and thundering “Welcome,” Arroyo Vista fifth graders greeted parents and guests on Friday, December 8, and showcased their impressive state projects.

An annual tradition for as long as many can remember, the state projects include handcrafted floats decorated with natural materials and patterned after Rose Parade floats, powerpoint presentations, blueprints, stamps, and essays with details about a state’s history, geography, commerce, symbols, sports teams, and more.
