The annual Holiday Sale of the Friends of the South Pasadena Library will take place December 5–7, 2025, in the Library Community Room, 1115 El Centro, South Pasadena.
As always, the sale will feature an extensive curated collection of current and classic Fiction and Children’s books, many stunning Art and Coffee Table Books, Antiquarian Collectible books, and a wide variety of non-fiction publications.
Shop for entertainment such as DVDs, CDs, and puzzles. Additionally, there will be books by and about local artists and authors.
This event raises significant funds to support the Library. Along with Library Bookstore sales and Membership dues, these funds directly support the South Pasadena Library.
In addition to supporting the purchase of Library materials, the Friends underwrite the popular Summer Reading Program and other special programs offered by the Library.
Sale Hours
- Friday, December 5 – 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Complimentary gift wrapping will be available while supplies last.
Early admittance at 5:00 p.m. will be offered to Friends’ Members who have joined at the $20 level. - Saturday, December 6 – 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Sunday, December 7 – 1:00–4:00 p.m.
On Sunday, there will be a Holiday Marketplace featuring local artisans offering a variety of handmade gifts such as ceramics, jewelry, art cards, and fiber arts.
