The South Pasadena Arts Council (SPARC) invites the community to its annual Give the Gift of Art holiday exhibition and sale, taking place at the SPARC Centre Gallery, 1000 Fremont Avenue, Unit 120, with the entrance located at the back of the building off the parking lot. The gallery will be open on the dates listed below or by appointment.

This festive annual event showcases a wide variety of original artwork and handcrafted items perfect for holiday giving, including watercolors, photographs, ceramics, letterpress cards, and more.
This year’s featured artists include:
- Shauneen Bell – A plein air painter whose work captures shifting landscapes shaped by light, season, and the meeting of land and sea.
- Gillian Gough – A watercolorist and oil painter known for her expressive color blending and brushwork that reveal the beauty in everyday subjects.
- Val Trimarchi – A painter, illustrator, and muralist recognized for joyful color, playful shapes, and richly textured compositions across acrylic, watercolor, and wood.
- Cynthia Thiel – A textile and mixed-media artist whose work spans fabric, ceramics, collage, drawing, and painting, often exploring themes of memory and the female form.
- Michael Campagna – A multidisciplinary artist whose SPARC-exhibited work includes pigmented photographic prints and reflects an intersecting visual and musical sensibility.
- Kim Lesak – An artist known for soft sculpture and handcrafted textile-based pieces.
Other featured artists include:
Daniel Peacock, Emily Sandor, Eric Joe, Karen Steen, Shelley Stephens, Ann Cutting, Jennifer Namkoong, and Jeanie Joe — representing a rich mix of painting, ceramics, photography, printwork, and other creative mediums.
The sale will also feature poetry books written by local poets from SPARC’s monthly Poetry in the Afternoon gathering.
