Tee off for tradition this Father’s Day weekend at the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses (SPTOR) Annual Golf Tournament, set for Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course, located at 1055 Lohman Lane in South Pasadena.
This community-driven tournament raises essential funds for South Pasadena’s self-built float, the oldest of its kind in the internationally renowned Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.
Tournament Details and Registration Info
Sponsored by Shaw, Moses, Mendenhall Insurance, the event welcomes players of all experience levels for a fun and charitable morning on the green.
- Registration opens: 7:00 a.m.
- Shotgun start: 8:00 a.m.
- Post-play events: Lunch, raffle, and awards ceremony
The format is a best ball scramble, perfect for both beginners and seasoned golfers.
Special Challenge: Win $10,000
A standout feature this year is the Hole #17 challenge, where participants can take a shot at winning $10,000 with a hole-in-one. The prize is generously sponsored by Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta. Entry for this challenge is $10 (cash only).
Awards and Pricing
Trophies and prizes will be awarded to:
- The top two teams
- The male and female golfers closest to the pin on a designated hole
Entry Fees
- Advance registration: $90 per player | $300 per foursome
- Day-of registration: $100 per player
All proceeds go toward the design, construction, and decoration of South Pasadena’s 2026 self-built Rose Parade float.
