As Vladimir and Estragon wait and wait for the arrival of the elusive Godot, a cast of mysterious misfits interrupt their endless vigil in Nobel Prize winner, Samuel Beckett’s, tragi-comic masterpiece that has captivated audiences for decades. Timeless and multi-layered, Waiting for Godot changed the course of contemporary drama and remains as resonant and riveting as ever.

Gare St Lazare Ireland, “the unparalleled Beckett champions” according to the New York Times, bring their wit and skill to a Godot for the ages.

The show is directed by Gare St Lazare Ireland’s Judy Hegarty Lovett and stars Rainn Wilson as Vladimir (Didi), Aasif Mandvi as Estragon (Gogo), Conor Lovett as Pozzo, Adam Stein as Lucky and Lincoln Bonilla and Jack McSherry as Boy. It’s a stellar cast that will have you in stitches as you ponder the meaning of life. Lovett is a founding actor of Gare St Lazare Ireland and has appeared in dozens of Beckett pieces and handles the language with a razor-sharp precision. Stein is arresting as Lucky, and stops the show when he finally speaks and unleashes his “thinking” in an infamous monologue. Wilson and Mandvi play beautifully off each other with genius comedic timing and physicality. They are wonderful to watch and spend this time waiting with them. I saw Lincoln Bonilla as Boy and he gave a very mature and earnest performance. It is a stellar production – a rare treat not to be missed!
