While the 4th of July won’t be the same this year, minus a traditional pancake breakfast, parade and fireworks show, some South Pasadena businesses have gone the extra mile, bringing out plenty of red, white and blue, to make the day special.
Spearheaded by the South Pasadena Arts Council, residents will find special displays in shop windows along Mission Street and Fair Oaks Avenue and other parts of downtown, provided by the talents of local student artists.
“We invite the community to support our local businesses and celebrate their re-opening as we celebrate the July 4 holiday,” said South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce President Laurie Wheeler.
