As one of the few film festivals that has gone up live and in person in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, PIFF now enters its tenth year with its signature glitz and glamour, showcasing over 140 films from over a dozen countries. PIFF screens feature films, short films, documentaries, music videos, and animation and also honors over two dozen screenwriters, playwrights, and composers. Every film block concludes with a moderator-hosted Q and A, and each day concludes with a “Passholders Lounge” hosted by the local Federal Bar. In addition, the Dangerfield Agency will host a panel on the “State of the Industry” prior to the Friday screenings. The eight-day event culminates in the Great Gatsby Gala and Award Ceremony held at Der Wolf RestoBar in Old Pasadena on May 11.
