The Mega Millions jackpot has topped more than a half billion dollars – yes, billion – for Friday night’s drawing.
The totals are currently at $548 million.
One lucky winner is Palmdale is celebrating after Wednesday night’s drawing hit five numbers, missing only the Mega number for just over $440,000.
Friday’s jackpot marks the third largest jackpot in Mega Millions history .It has been growing since it was last won on July 24, and marked the 22nd consecutive drawing there were no tickets matching all six numbers drawn.
