Wine & Song at Lost Parrot Cafe will feature a favorite duo from the East Coast, Robinson & Rohe and the fabulous R.O. Shapiro, who joined the Wine & Song Road Show in San Francisco last week. You’re in for a treat, so swing on over to Lost Parrot Cafe on October 4 for a hot time in the old town Wednesday night! Doors open at 6, show starts at 7.
Liam Robinson and Jean Rohe were brought together over fifteen years ago by their mutual love of afternoon song-swaps, American folk ballads, and wordplay. Since then, they’ve written a distinctive body of work that draws on the roots music they hold dear, and engages their versatile musical and literary sensibilities as arrangers, improvisers, poets, and producers.
R.O. Shapiro hails from the East End of Long Island. He is a lifelong performer with Shakespeare and rhythm tap dancing in his past and Americana music in his present. A one time resident of Austin, he combed the beaches of sunny San Diego before recently moving up north to the Bay Area. He is a founding member of Odell Fox and he looks after a dog named Joni.
