Participants took part in either a 1-mile or 5K walk or run, followed by a festive gathering featuring pet-friendly activities, giveaways, food trucks, and more. Highlights included a doggy costume contest, a “Sit, Stay and Play” training park, and a vendor expo that entertained both pets and their people.

“After the Eaton Fire, it was powerful to see the community come together in support of animals and each other,” said Mia Dunn, Senior Director of Philanthropy at Pasadena Humane.

Raising Funds for Lifesaving Programs

The event raised funds for Pasadena Humane’s essential services, including its animal ICU, foster care program, pet food pantry, and Helping Paws pet owner assistance program. These services proved especially critical during the fire response and continue to support thousands of animals across the Greater Los Angeles area.
