A community workshop – What to Do About Mom? – to assist families and caregivers with aging matters is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. p.m., in the South Pasadena Library Community Room.

The event, presented by the city’s Senior Commission and South Pasadena Senior Center, will include seven speakers covering a variety of topics facing the elderly.

Discussed will be legal and financial matters, including probate, Medicare, avoiding fraud and abuse, paying for care and more.

Agencies servicing seniors will be available to share information on services. Refreshments, sponsored by the Senior Citizens Foundation, will be available.

The South Pasadena Library community Room is at 1115 El Centro Street.
