RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
• 9-9-18, 7:42 AM, 1600 block of Amberwood (laundry room). Suspects
break door knob to gain access into laundry room and pry coin boxes of
laundry machines taking loss. LOSS: Coins. SUSPECTS
DESCRIPTION: Suspect One – Male, heavy set. Suspect Two – Female, light skin, wearing a black shirt and jeans.
• 9-6-18, 11 PM to 9-7-18, 7:30 PM, 400 block of Alta Vista. Suspect(s)
enter victim’s opened garage and then enter victim’s unlocked vehicle.
LOSS: Bag.
• 9-6-18, 11:30 AM to 4 PM, 2100 block of Pine. Suspect(s) pry open rear
door to gain entry and take loss. LOSS: Games, cash and jewelry.
• 9-6-18, 1:13 PM, 1500 block of Via Del Rey. Suspect One knocks on victim’s front
door and leaves when no one answers. About an hour later Suspect Two knocks on
victim’s front door as Suspect Three walks through the side yard to access the rear
yard. Suspect Three smashes a glass sliding door to gain entry. Suspect Two and Suspect Three enter house activating alarm. Suspect Two and Suspect Three take loss and leaves. LOSS: Unknown. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: Suspect One – Male, Asian, 18 years, fluffy dark hair, slim build, wearing a dark jacket and dark pants. Suspect Two – Male, wearing dark hooded jacket with hood pulled over head and dark pants.
Suspect Three – Male, light skinned, mustache, wearing a dark hooded jacket with
hood pulled over head and dark pants. SUSPECT VEHICLE – Black
colored Mercedes sedan with “Carmax” paper plates.
STOLEN VEHICLE
9-9-18, 9 PM to 9-10-18, 8 AM, 1400 block of Lyndon. ’97, Nissan Altima.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
9-5-18, 4:31 AM, Pasadena/Railroad Alley. Officers respond to a report of a
suspicious vehicle and locate suspect. Suspect is found to be in possession of
methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 48 years, Los
Angeles.
DUI
• 9-8-18, 2:05 AM, 600 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect is stopped for a traffic
violation and found to be driving influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Asian, 29 years, Los Angeles.
• 9-7-18/10:36 AM, Hill and Collis. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation
and found to be driving influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED:
Male, White, 24 years, Los Angeles.
• 9-6-18, 11:47 PM, Via Del Rey/Monterey. Suspect is stopped for a traffic
violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Asian, 42 years, South Pasadena.
IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD
• 9-3-18 to 9-4-18, 1500 block of Bank. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s
credit card account and makes several unauthorized purchases.
• 4-13-18 to 8-28-18, 1400 block of Fremont (South Pasadena High
School). Suspect(s) opens an account under school’s booster club name
and deposits checks sent to real booster club.
THEFT
9-7-18, 5:43 AM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Victim is shopping in store
with purse lying inside a cart. Suspect One distracts victim by asking a question as Suspect Two takes loss from victim’s purse. Suspects leave and attempt to make a purchase with victim’s credit card but is declined. LOSS: Wallet. SUSPECTS
DESCRIPTION: Suspect One – Male, Black, wearing a white hat, white shirt, blue jeans
and black shoes. Suspect Two – Male, Black. Suspect Three – Female, Black, long dark hair, wearing a gray sweater and dark jeans.
VANDALISM
9-8-18, 11 AM to 9-9-18, 4 PM, 1900 block of Fletcher. Suspect(s) smashes
victim’s vehicle window. For graffiti removal, call the City of South Pasadena “Graffiti Removal Hotline” at 626-403-7249. This is a 24-hour a day recording. A written
release is required prior to removal from private property.
