victim’s residence by pushing in a window fan. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male,
White, approximately 30 years, bald, wearing a black shirt, dark pants, small
black backpack. LOSS: Cash, jewelry, watches.
THEFT
• 10-16-18, 8:18 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks (OSH). Suspect takes loss and
leaves without paying. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 36 years,
South Pasadena. LOSS: Saw blades (recovered).

FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE
10-19-18, 6:21 PM, 1200 block of Lyndon. Suspects call victim and pose as a
representative from the Social Security Administration and the South Pasadena
Police Department. Suspects claim that victim has been involved in illegal activity
and had arrest warrants. Victim transfers funds to a Bitcoin account as instructed.

unauthorized loan with victim’s information.
• 10-9-18, 12:00 AM to 10-11-18, 12:00 AM, 1000 block of Fair Oaks.
Suspect(s) take and cash victim’s checks without permission.

• 10-19-18, 10:53 PM, 11:41 PM, Orange Grove/Oliver. Officers respond to
a traffic collision and find suspect to be driving under the influence of
alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 23 years, Pasadena.
