THEFT

  • 4-10-19, 3:33 PM to 4-29-19, 4:22 PM, 900 block of Mission. Suspect uses victim’s debit card and makes several unauthorized withdrawals.
  • 5-22-19, 1:31 PM to 1:50 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Subject takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUBJECT CITED: Male, Juvenile. LOSS: Food items (recovered).
  • 5-22-19, 2:36 PM to 3:13 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Subject puts loss in backpack and leaves store without paying. SUBJECT CITED: Male, Juvenile. LOSS: Wine (recovered).
  • 5-22-19, 6:26 PM to 6:46 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Subject takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUBJECT ARRESTED: Male, Juvenile. LOSS: Food items (recovered).
  • 5-22-19, 6:27 PM to 9:17 PM, 300 block of Monterey. Suspect(s) tamper with victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Bicycle.
  • 5-23-19, 9:33 AM, 1700 block of Gillette Crescent. Suspect(s) tamper with vehicle boot and take loss. LOSS: Vehicle boot.

FRAUD

  • 5-22-19, 4:11 PM to 5:27 PM, 1100 block of Columbia. Suspect attempts to cash a fictitious check.

FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE

  • Suspect 1 calls victim and poses as an agent of the Social Security Administration. Suspect 1 claims that victim’s social security card had been stolen and used in fraudulent activities. Suspect 2 calls victim and poses as an officer of the South Pasadena Police Department. Suspect 2 claims that victim’s finances would be secured if money was withdrawn and exchanged into Bitcoin currency. Victim withdraws funds, exchanges money into Bitcoin and sends the currency to suspect 2.

VANDALISM

  • 5-20-19, 1:21 AM to 5-21-19, 1:25 AM, 600 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect breaks a fire alarm panel. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, white, wearing a reflective vest.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-20-19, 3:00 PM to 5-21-19, 9:04 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) gain entry into business by shattering a window. Suspect(s) burn victim’s property.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-22-19, 7:15 PM to 7:57 PM, 1500 block of Oxley. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s residence by smashing a glass window. LOSS: Jewelry.
  • 5-22-19, 1:06 PM to 1:12 PM, 1100 block of Fairview (attempt). Suspect attempts to gain entry into victim’s residence by damaging a window screen. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, wearing a light blue sweater, dark pants, red high top sneakers.
  • 5-23-19, 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 1100 block of Foothill. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s residence by accessing a pet door. LOSS: Unknown.
  • 5-27-19, 10:15 AM to 12:44 PM, 1100 block of Foothill. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s residence by opening an unlocked rear sliding door. LOSS: Laptops, bicycles.

MINOR IN POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA ON SCHOOL GROUNDS

  • 5-22-19, 9:43 AM to 10:32 AM, 1400 block of Fremont. Subject brings marijuana onto school grounds. SUBJECT CITED: Male, Juvenile.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • 5-24-19, 12:38 AM to 1:27 AM, 300 block of Monterey. Officers stop suspect for a traffic violation and find suspect to be in possession of controlled prescription drug not prescribed to suspect. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 60 years, San Gabriel.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

  • 5-26-19, 2:16 AM to 2:39 AM, 1400 block of Huntington. Officers respond to a call regarding a subject possibly casing the area and find suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 41 years, South Pasadena. DUI 5-27-19, 1:59 AM to 2:32 AM, 200 block of Fair Oaks. Officer stops suspect for a traffic violation and finds suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 30 years, Montebello.
