RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
• 2-1-19 to 3-16-19, 1300 block of Via Del Rey. Suspect(s) enters victim’s garage and takes loss from vehicle. LOSS: License plates.
• 3-14-19, 7 AM to 5:15 PM, 600 block of Fremont. Suspect(s) pries open a window to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Coins.
VEHICLE BURGLARY
• 3-11-19, 5:00 PM to 3-12-19, 6:30 AM, 200 block of Monterey. ’17 Chevrolet Impala. Suspect(s) pry open door to gain entry into victim’s vehicle. LOSS: None.
• 3-12-19, 7:00 PM to 3-13-19, 5:20 AM, 100 block of Monterey. ’15 Ford F250. Suspect(s) shatter window to gain entry into victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Tools.
• 3-13-19, 4:00 PM to 3-14-19, 6:40 AM, 1600 block of Fremont. ’97 Chevrolet Astro. Suspect(s) pry open door to gain entry into victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Work equipment, miscellaneous items.
• 3-15-19, 1:20 PM to 2:25 PM, 1600 block of Garfield. ’12 Acura MDX. Suspect(s) shatter window to gain entry into victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Purse, wallet, sunglasses.
ASSAULTS
- 3-15-19, 9:40 PM, 1000 block of El Centro. Suspects climb over a wall and is contacted by victim (security guard) to leave. Suspects hit victim and run away. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, White, 600, thin build. S2 – Male, White, 25 years, 507, wearing a dark shirt and light colored pants. S3 – Male, Asian, 25 years, 507, wearing blue checkered flannel shirt and khaki pants.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
• 3-17-19, 2:50 AM, Salonica/San Pascual. Suspect is riding a bicycle and is stopped for a traffic violation. Suspect is found to have an outstanding warrant and in possession of a controlled substance. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 32 years, Acton.
• 3-12-19, 1 PM, 2000 block of Huntington. Suspects are stopped for a traffic violation and a S1 provides officer with a false identity. S1’s true identity is discovered and S1 is found to have an outstanding warrant and also in possession of a controlled substance. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 29 years, Los Angeles.
POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA
- 3-18-19, 11:25 AM, 1800 block of State. Officer contacts suspect who is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 46 years, Pomona.
THEFT
• 3-11-19, 5:30 PM to 3-12-19, 6:30 AM, 200 block of Monterey. ‘06 Infiniti G35. Suspect(s) gains entry into victim’s vehicle through unknown means and take loss. LOSS: Emergency bag, U.S. currency, car tool kit, electronics.
• 3-13-19, 6 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects enter store and take loss from shelf. Suspects exit store without paying and employee calls police. Officers locate suspect driving on the street
DRUNK IN PUBLIC
- 3-17-19, 11:46 PM, 1000 block of Mission. Officers respond to a subject passed out on the street. Subject is found to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 35 years, Long Beach. DUI 3-18-19, 3:12 AM, Pasadena/Monterey. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 46 years, N. Hollywood.
IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD
• 3-7-19, 1100 block of Donaldo Court. Victim responds to an online ad regarding a rental property. Victim later discovers ad to be a “phishing” scheme (a look-a-like ad of the original).
• 3-7-19 to 3-8-19, 1800 block of Hardison. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s bank account and makes two unauthorized withdrawals.
• 10-30-18 to 2-5-19, 1100 block of Foothill. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to open several unauthorized accounts.
• 11-11-18 to 3-14-18, 1600 block of Fremont. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to open an unauthorized credit card account.
• 12-17-18 to 3-8-19, 2000 block of Le Droit. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s bank account and makes several fraudulent charges.
• 3-4-19, 2000 block of Fremont. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to obtain cable TV service.
• 3-3-19 to 3-6-19, 1400 block of Oneonta Knoll. Victim discovers they were scammed on Craigslist.
• 3-15-19 to 3-18-19, 300 block of Pasadena. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s bank account and makes several unauthorized withdrawals. VANDALISM 3-16-19, 10:40 AM, 1000 block of Mission. Officers respond to a theft that just occurred and locates suspect. Suspect is found to have a marker and admits to writing graffiti. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 37 years, Transient.
