activities occurring in the City of South Pasadena. An alert and well-informed citizen makes you less of a target to a criminal. Remember, call the South Pasadena Police Department to report any suspicious activity.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 8-12-25, 5 PM to 8-13-25, 9 AM, 1800 block of Marengo (garage). Victim’s
residence is under construction and suspect(s) pries side door to garage
open to gain entry. LOSS: Unknown.

• 8-13-25, 12 PM to 8-16-25, 11 AM, 1200 block of Diamond. Victim’s
residence is under construction and suspect(s) enter by unknown means
and takes loss. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 8-16-25, 8 PM, 200 block of Camino Del Sol. Suspects park in front of
victim’s residence and suspects walk to the rear of victim’s property.
Suspects smashes a rear sliding door to gain entry. LOSS: Unknown.
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Dark colored, 4-door sedan. SUSPECTS
DESCRIPTION: (2) subjects wearing dark hooded jackets and dark pants.

ASSAULTS

• 8-14-25, 8:15 PM, Orange Grove/Mission. Victim stops for suspect who is
crossing the street. Suspect yells and brandishes a pipe at victim.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Other, 39 years, Pasadena.

• 8-15-25, 8:25 PM, 500 block of Magnolia. Suspect and victim are
acquaintances and get into an argument. Suspect throws a bottle a victim’s
vehicle. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 33 years, South Pasadena.

• 8-16-25, 6 PM, El Centro/Diamond. Officers respond to a stabbing that just
occurred. Officers locate suspect on the Metro platform and is taken into
custody. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 37 years, Ventura.

THEFT

• 7-24-25, 2:33 PM, 1300 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) takes loss from
victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 8-10-25, 1 AM to 2 AM, 1100 block of Lyndon. ’16, Audi. Suspect(s)
removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Vehicle registration tabs.

• 8-14-25, 2:18 PM, 700 block of Bonita. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s
front porch. b Parcel packages.

• 8-14-25, 7:47 PM, 800 block of Mission. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s
front porch. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 8-15-25, 4:43 PM, 600 block of Fair Oaks (Bristol Farms). Suspect enters
store and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. SUSPECT
ARRESTED: Male, Black, 48 years, Los Angeles.

• 8-16-25, 1:25 AM, 300 block of Monterey. ’10, Honda Odyssey. Suspect
smashes victim’s vehicle window to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Xbox
console, games and headset. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Gray, Nissan Altima.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 6’1”, wearing a white colored hooded
jacket.

South Pasadena Real Estate

• 8-18-25, 5:40 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Starbucks). Suspect enters store
and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Food items.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Female, White, 35 years, short hair, thin build,
wearing a camo shirt and gray pants.

OBSTRUCT/RESIST ARREST

8-14-25, 11:22 AM, 1000 block of Mission. Officers respond to a subject arguing
with an employee of a business and smoking drugs. Officers arrive and contact
suspect, who immediately runs away. Officers apprehend the suspect a block
away. Suspect is found to be in possession of a controlled substance. SUSPECT
ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 28 years, Los Angeles.

POSSESS DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

8-10-25, 3:11 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks. Officer sees suspect smoking in a
business district and contacts suspect. Suspect is found to be in possession of
drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 48 years, Los
Angeles.

TRESPASSING

8-16-25, 7:30 AM, 1000 block of Fremont (Calvary Church). Suspects are found
sleeping on private property and S2 is found to have an outstanding warrant.
SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 23 years, South Pasadena. S2 –
Female, Hispanic, 23 years, Van Nuys.

IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD

June 2020 to 8-11-25. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to file for
unemployment benefits.

DUI

• 8-6-25, 2:44 AM, Mission/Meridian. Suspect is involved in a traffic collision
and is found to be driving under the influence of a drug. SUSPECT
ARRESTED: Male, White, 22 years, Altadena.

• 8-10-25, 12:48 AM, San Pascual/Arroyo. Suspect is stopped for a traffic
violation and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic, 36 years, Los Angeles.

• 8-12-25, 12:17 AM, Fremont/Oxley. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation
and impersonates another person. Suspect is found to be driving under the
influence of alcohol and is also found to be in possession of a controlled
substance. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 37 years, Burbank.
