The Weekly Crime Summary is a list of reported auto thefts, burglaries, robberies and other
activities occurring in the City of South Pasadena. An alert and well-informed citizen makes you less of a target to a criminal. Remember, call the South Pasadena Police Department to report any suspicious activity.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 4-3-25, 9:44 PM, 1600 block of Milan (hot prowl). Victims are asleep inside
residence when suspect enters the rear yard and activates a motion
camera. Victims’ son gets an alert and sees suspect in rear yard remotely.
Suspect smashes a French door window when son speaks to suspect
remotely. Suspect then runs away. LOSS: None. SUSPECT
DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing dark jeans, dark shoes, dark hooded jacket,
gloves and carrying a dark colored backpack.

• 4-3-25, 6 PM to 4-4-25, 1 PM, 1900 block of La Fremontia. Suspect(s)
smashes a rear glass door to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Jewelry
and cash.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

3-29-25, 7 PM to 4-1-25, 9:13 AM, 900 block of Mission (Extra Space Storage).
Suspect(s) cuts padlock off victim’s storage unit and takes loss. LOSS: Bicycle,
tools and game console.

STOLEN VEHICLE
• 4-1-25, 9 AM to 12:20 PM, 1500 block of Rollin. ’00, Honda Civic.

• 4-1-25, 8:30 AM to 3 PM, 5000 block of Collis. ’18, Hyundai Santa Fe.

• 4-2-25, 9 PM to 4-3-25, 11:29 AM, 600 block of Park. ’13, Kia Optima.

THEFT
• 3-12-25, 2 PM to 3-18-25, 10:20 AM, 800 block of Fremont (Carrows). Suspect(s) gains entry by unknown means and takes loss. LOSS: Bicycles,
speaker and a lantern.

South Pasadena Real Estate

• 3-22-25, 10 AM to 11:15 AM, 300 block of Pasadena. Suspect(s) takes loss
from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 3-30-25, 6 PM to 4-1-25, 7 AM, 1800 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) cuts
lock securing loss and takes loss. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 4-2-25, 4:30 AM – 5:15 AM, 1800 block of Via Del Rey. Suspect pries open
victim’s mailbox and takes loss. LOSS: Mail. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Jeep
Cherokee. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Unknown subject, wearing dark
jacket, long pants with a reflective stripe on the side, black shoes, jacket
and a mask.

POSSESS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

4-1-25, 6:13 PM, Grand/Sterling. Officers respond to a driver slumped over behind
the wheel of a vehicle. Officers contact suspect who is found to be in possession
of a controlled substance. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 36 years, Los
Angeles.

ASSAULTS

4-3-25, 9:30 PM, 1000 block of Mission (Griffins). Suspect enters business and
disrupts band. Employee (victim) asks suspect to leave and suspect hits victim.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 30 years, Los Angeles.

OBSTRUCT/RESIST ARREST

4-1-25, 12:09 AM, 300 block of Camino Verde/5300 block of Huntington. Witness
sees suspect walking up driveways and shows officers surveillance video of
suspect. Officers recognize suspect through prior arrests. Suspect is later seen
on the street and runs from officers. Suspect is found hiding and is also found to
have an outstanding warrant. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 36 years, Los
Angeles.

VANDALISM

3-31-25, 6 PM, 700 block of Fair Oaks (Arco). Suspect sprays graffiti on victim’s
business sign. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White or Hispanic, 5’00” – 5’10”,
160-200 lbs., wearing a black shirt and dark shorts.
DUI

4-5-25, 11:22 PM, 800 block of Prospect. Suspect is involved in a traffic collision
and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED:
Male, Asian, 54 years, South Pasadena.

• 4-3-25, 3:15 PM, 1600 block of Garfield.
Non-injury Traffic Collision
• 4-1-25, 5:30 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (hit-and-run).
• 4-2-25, 2:14 PM, Diamond/Rollin.
• 4-3-25, 8:16 PM, 300 block of Monterey (hit-and-run).
