The City of South Pasadena offers a variety of water conservation rebates to help residents reduce water use, lower utility bills, and support a more sustainable community. Whether you’re upgrading your landscape or replacing an appliance, there may be a rebate available for you.
Current rebate opportunities include:
Native Tree Rebates
Receive up to $100 per tree (maximum of 10 trees per household). Trees must be selected from the City’s pre-approved list of Protected Native Trees.
Water-Efficient Plant Rebates
Get up to $2,000 per household when planting water-efficient plants from the City’s approved plant list.
Drip Irrigation Conversion Rebates
Earn up to $300 per household for converting to drip irrigation. Qualifying materials include valves, filters, pressure regulators, drip tubing, emitters, and related components.
Energy Star® Dishwasher Rebates
Receive up to $750 when replacing a non-Energy Star dishwasher with a qualifying Energy Star model from the approved list.
Additional Rebates Available Through Metropolitan Water District (MWD)
In addition to City-offered rebates, South Pasadena residents are also eligible for water-saving rebates through the Metropolitan Water District (MWD). These programs offer incentives for items such as high-efficiency appliances, turf replacement, irrigation upgrades, and other water-efficient improvements.
Residents are encouraged to explore both City and MWD rebate programs to maximize savings.
