Most of us here in South Pasadena are familiar with the beautiful showroom of Peltier Home at 1011-A Mission Street but not everyone understands all that Amy Peltier and her team offer.
Not only is Amy a visionary artist when it comes to interior design, but Peltier Home offers everything from complete interior design projects – from design to build; as well as a showroom where clients can come visit the and walk out with beautifully curated items for their homes or gifts such as vases, candles, pillows and other home décor treasures.
Also available are smaller design solutions like reupholstering a vintage chair or adding a splash of color by way of pillows, throws, a new lamp. In other words, they offer full service design to buying that one special vase and everything in between. The beauty of the studio is being able to offer everyone the same services they offer their full-scale design projects.

Peltier hails from the mid-west and her enthusiasm is infectious. Moving here in 2011 with her husband and two young children, Peltier launched her interior design business online in 2013. After a whirlwind of success including designing for the Pasadena Showcase House in 2014 and 2015, Peltier Home was born.
After going with her gut to move into the Mission Street space, Peltier has been pleasantly surprised by all the support and success they have experienced in South Pasadena. She now says it couldn’t have been a better location, adding that “being between a hair salon and a coffee shop doesn’t hurt either. Being right off the Gold Line as well has brought visitors from Monrovia and beyond who come here for lunch and stop by our studio. We are so happy.”
Peltier Home is offering a very special event for the next three Saturdays, from 10-5, where they will offer 25% off all custom, special order upholstery projects, from new items like a sofa for your family room to reupholstery projects like a special chair that might be a family heirloom. Peltier says these projects are always a lot of fun because they never know what unique things are going to come through the door. If you’ve been thinking about re-doing a room or a corner or a special piece, this would be a great event to make it happen and the team at Peltier will help crystallize your vision.
