South Pasadena High’s soccer team, a third place finisher in the Rio Hondo League this season, travels to Valley Christian School in Cerritos for a wildcard CIF-Southern Section contest.
The Tigers finished the league campaign with a 4-4-2 mark, 11-5-4 overall. They will be facing an Olympic League team that wound up in second behind front-runner Maranatha with a 4-1-3 mark, 8-7-4 on the season.
South Pasadena finished third league play behing Monrovia and La Canada and ahead of Temple City Blair and San Marino.
