It took nearly a year and a half between games, but South Pasadena High hardly looked like a team coming out of hibernation as the Tigers rolled to a 36-30 Rio Hondo League victory Friday night over La Cañada.
The long awaited contest came months after it was put on hold on account of COVID-19.
South Pasadena, 1-0, returns to action in two weeks against San Marino following a bye. The Tigers have scheduled games against Monrovia and Temple City following that contest.
