SPHS students kicked off the 2025 Homecoming festivities with Spirit Week beginning on Monday, October 13. Students dressed up in a European summer vacation theme each day.
On Friday, October 17, they participated in the Homecoming Picnic, which offered food, drinks, and live music on campus in the afternoon, followed by the Tiger Football game that night versus San Marino. Congratulations to the Tigers for the outstanding football victory!
The Homecoming Dance, themed “Midnight on the Mediterranean,” took place on Saturday night at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course in South Pasadena. These events were planned and coordinated by the SPHS Associated Student Body (ASB).
Each year, six students are elected to the SPHS Royal Tiger Homecoming Court. Students from each grade level nominate classmates who actively contribute to the school community, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and consistently bring positivity to campus.
The 12th grade students elect three classmates from the top nine nominees, and students from the other grade levels elect one student from the top three nominees at their grade level. The entire student body votes for the Most Royal Tiger — the student who best represents Tiger Spirit — from among the three seniors on the Court.
Go, Tigers!
