Girls Soccer | South Pasadena High hosts Marquez at 4 p.m. Tuesday in first round action

CIF Division 5 champion South Pasadena High School will host Marquez of Huntington Park on Tuesday in a first round State Regional soccer match.
Action at Roosevelt Field on the South Pasadena High campus begins at 4 p.m.
The Tigers beat Westminster 1-0 on Friday night to win the CIF crown. Now they want to be the best in their division in California.

South Pasadena, Rio Hondo League champs, is 20-3-3 on the season and has given up only six goals during the 2017-18 campaign. The Tigers recorded a 6-1-1 first place record against league opponents.
Marquez comes into Sunday’s match with a 22-1-2 record and won the Southern League with a 10-1-1 mark.
