SPUSD PRESS RELEASE:
The gymnasium has the last few coats of interior paint being applied and we will be moving on to the hardwood floors. Ceramic tile in the restrooms and showers are complete with the plumbing fixtures following directly. Ceiling installation and final paint in the P.E. offices and common areas will be completed by the end of June. Rework on the main lobby is ongoing with the concrete flatwork scheduled for mid July.
The fieldhouse framing is complete and mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-ins are ongoing.
Roofing, exterior windows and doors frames will follow shortly and the building will be ready for drywall installation and final painting.
Sitework is ongoing with the south portion of the planters being prepared for concrete. The north basketball courts will be paved by next month and we will progress the flatwork heading south towards the pool parking lot. The perimeter fence installation has been ongoing and will continue south following the completion of planters and concrete flatwork.
