South Pasadena High School (SPHS) held its fifth annual Student Voter Registration Drive from September 22–26, 2025. In California, eligible students ages 16–17 may pre-register, and those 18 and over may register to vote.
Students from Oliver Valcorza’s AP Government and Alisia Engelhard’s Civics classes volunteered their time during lunch to help classmates pre-register and register to vote so their voices may be heard in upcoming elections. Student Commissioner of School & Community, Sam Allen, along with ASB, assisted with the week-long registration process. Student volunteers partnered with The Civics Center, which provided promotional materials and support.
