INPUT RE: COMPOSITION OF MAPS FOR BOARD OF EDUCATION TRUSTEE AREA ELECTIONS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the South Pasadena Unified School District at a Board meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on October 12, 2021, will conduct a public hearing in accordance with Elections Code section 10010 to receive and consider input regarding the composition of trustee area maps to be used in the event the Board approves a transition to by-trustee area elections pursuant to Education Code sections 5019 and 5020.

The Board invites members of the community to provide public comment on this matter by attending the meeting and completing a speaker card. At the appointed time, the Board President will open the Public Hearing to receive comments.

Alternatively, community members may submit input regarding the potential composition of trustee areas by sending an email to cvra@spusd.net. Written comments will not be read as part of the formal record, but Board of Education members will receive and consider all comments submitted.
