THEFT

• 5-16-23, 4:40 PM to 5:10 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect takes victim’s unattended loss and attempts to make several unauthorized transactions. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 20 years, dark colored, short hair, wearing black sneakers, jeans, black pullover jacket with unknown print on front. LOSS: Cell phone, debit card.

• 5-16-23, 8:30 PM to 8:40 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspects take loss and leave store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Female, Black. S2 – Male, Black, 20 years, wearing a blue sweater, blue sweats, white shoes. S3 – Female, Black, 30 years, wearing a cheetah print coat, black shirt, black sweats, black shoes. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Black Mercedes-Benz. LOSS: Skincare and personal hygiene products.

• 5-16-23, 4:30 PM to 5-17-23, 7:30 AM, 100 block of Monterey. ’22 Lexus RX 350. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Sunglasses, garage gate remote, U.S. currency.

• 5-17-23, 6:40 PM, 1700 block of Garfield (Ralphs). Suspects place loss in bags and leave store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 40 years, wearing all black clothing. S2 – Female, Hispanic, wearing a black tank top. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Red Chevrolet SUV. LOSS: Unknown.

• 5-21-23, 7:45 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Asian, 40 years, wearing a blue Dodger hat, black jacket, light blue jeans. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Black Mazda. LOSS: Skincare products.

• 5-21-23, 8:24 PM, 1700 block of Garfield (Ralphs). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 40 – 50 years, wearing a black baseball cap, red flannel, denim shorts, riding a bicycle. LOSS: Clothing, medicine.

• 5-21-23, 8:25 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 50 years, tattoo on shaved head, wearing a blue Dodger sweater and shorts. LOSS: Razor blades.

• 5-19-23, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 1800 block of Bushnell. Suspect takes loss from victim’s front porch. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, wearing a white shirt, gray hoodie, gray sweats, white shoes. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 5-22-23, 5:20 PM to 5:26 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, 6’5’’, thin build, wearing a straw hat, burgundy shirt, gray pants, black and white sneakers. LOSS: Food items.

AUTO BURGLARY

5-20-23, 11:00 AM to 11:08 AM, 1700 block of Wayne. Suspects forcefully open the rear door of a mail truck and take loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, wearing a black sweater, tan shorts, white shoes. S2 – Unknown. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Cream colored sedan. LOSS: Mail.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

5-20-23, 6:15 AM to 5-22-23, 2:15 AM, 400 block of Orange Grove. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s residence by breaking a rear door lock. LOSS: Belt, jewelry.

ASSAULT

5-22-23, 9:25 AM to 5-23-23, 9:35 AM, 1600 block of Oak. Suspect gets into a verbal altercation with victim. Suspect slaps victim’s hand as victim attempts to call 9-1-1. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 5’8’’, scruffy facial hair, skinny build, missing teeth, wearing a green hoodie, shorts, riding a skateboard.

FRAUD

• 5-13-23, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect 1 approaches victim as victim is using a self-checkout stand. Suspect 1 distracts victim by claiming that victim had dropped some money. Victim takes the money and is later approached in the parking lot. Suspect 1 claims that he made a mistake and the money actually belongs to Suspect 2. Victim gives the money back to Suspect 1 and later discovers that a debit card is missing. Suspects uses victim’s information and makes several unauthorized withdrawals. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Middle Eastern, 40 years, 5’09’’, 180 lbs., wearing a medical face mask, t-shirt, slacks. S2 – Female, Middle Eastern, 150 lbs., wearing a hijab and medical face mask.

• 5-16-23, 1:03 PM. Suspect(s) alter and cashes victim’s check.

• 5-1-23, 8:00 AM to 5-8-23, 6:00 PM. Suspect(s) alter and cashes victim’s check.

VANDALISM

5-18-23, 8:00 PM to 5-19-23, 8:42 AM, 1100 Oxley (South Pasadena Public Library). Suspect(s) remove a book exchange case from a stand.

TRESPASSING/POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

5-22-23, 4:50 PM to 5:00 PM, 100 block of Monterey. Suspect trespasses onto victim’s property. Suspect is found to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 35 years, Pasadena.
