THEFT

• 5-28-20, 3:23 AM to 3:42 AM, 1500 block of Spruce. Suspect cuts lock securing loss to a railing, and takes loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 5’06’’ – 5’08’’, 150 – 160 lbs., wearing calf-high shorts, jacket, beanie cap, bandana covering face, carrying a dark colored shoulder bag. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 5-2-20, 8:00 PM to 8:06 PM, 1500 block of Spruce. Suspect enters secure garage by following a tenant. Suspect takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle and storage area. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, light skinned, 5’08’’ – 5’10’’, 190 – 200 lbs., wearing a dark colored short-sleeved t-shirt, dark long pants, baseball cap. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Late 2000, 4-door, white Toyota RAV4. LOSS: Garage door opener, tent.

• 6-3-20, 8:50 PM to 9:04 PM, 1400 block of Mission (G&M Food Mart). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, hair in a ponytail with blue and yellow hair ties, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, black mask. LOSS: Food items.

• 6-4-20, 9:54 AM to 10:27 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 31 years, Lancaster. LOSS: Liquor (recovered).

• 6-5-20, 6:29 AM to 8:17 AM, 1500 block of Rollin. Officers respond to a call regarding a suspicious subject looking into a vehicle and backyard. Suspect is found to have stolen a vehicle and taking loss from multiple locations. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 35 years, transient. LOSS: Vehicle, electronics, miscellaneous items (recovered).

• 6-5-20, 8:20 AM to 8:25 AM, 1100 block of Milan. Suspect takes unsecured loss from victim’s vehicle and flees in an awaiting vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, medium build, 5’07’’, bald, wearing a black face covering, gray shirt, black shorts, black shoes. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Late-model, gray Dodge Grand Caravan. LOSS: Leaf blower.

• 6-4-20, 8:00 PM, to 6-5-20, 12:39 PM, 500 block of Magnolia. ’13 Lexus GX460. Suspect takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Sunglasses, ID badges, vehicle registration, phone charger (recovered).

• 6-8-20, 6:15 PM to 6:35 PM, 1300 block of Huntington. Victim is making a delivery and suspect takes loss attached to victim’s vehicle and flees in an awaiting vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, blonde hair, 160 lbs., wearing a white shirt, blue jeans. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Red Toyota Prius. LOSS: Loading ramp.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING

  • 6-2-20, 12:05 PM to 12:24 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks. Officers contact suspect, whom they observed driving in an unsafe manner, and find suspect to be in possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 39 years, North Hills. POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
  • 6-1-20, 3:18 AM to 3:56 AM, Huntington/Garfield. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and is found to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 30 years, Los Angeles. POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA 6-3-20, 4:16 AM to 4:42 AM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks. Officers contact and find suspects to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: S1 – Female, Hispanic, 22 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Female, Hispanic, 28 years, Los Angeles.

ROBBERY

  • 6-5-20, 3:50 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (U.S. Bank). Suspect passes a demand note to employee. Employee complies and gives loss to suspect. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 23 years, 5’10’’, thin build, blond curly hair, wearing a black baseball cap, black face mask, light blue and white color tie-dyed short-sleeve t-shirt and blue jeans. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Kia Forte, black, 4 doors. LOSS: U.S. currency.

STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 6-4-20, 8:30 AM to 6-5-20, 5:45 PM, 1600 block of Amberwood. ’18 Subaru Forester (recovered by LASD Century).

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

  • 7-8-18, 12:00 AM to 7-11-18, 11:59 PM. Suspect uses victim information to rent a vehicle.

VANDALISM

  • 6-3-20, 4:21 PM to 4:34 PM, 600 block of Stoney. Officers on patrol find suspects to be vandalizing a wall with spray paint. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 23 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 23 years, Los Angeles.
