• 1-6-23, 6:00 PM to 1-7-23, 11:00 AM, 1800 block of Ramona. Suspect cuts lock and takes loss from a carport. LOSS: Bicycles (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 54 years, Los Angeles.

• 12-15-22, 4:00 PM to 1-9-23, 5:00 PM, 2100 block of Hanscom. ’09 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 1-19-23, 5:50 AM, 1100 block of Magnolia. ’08 Toyota Prius (attempt). Victim is inside home when victim hears cutting noises outside. Victim looks outside and sees suspects attempting to remove catalytic converter from victim’s vehicle. Victim yells at suspects and suspects flees without loss. LOSS: None. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1Male. S2Female. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: White sedan.

• 1-18-23, 12:00 PM to 1-19-23, 6:26 AM, 1200 block of Blair. Suspect(s) gain access to victim’s vehicle through unknown means and ransacks vehicle. LOSS: None.

• 1-18-23, 4:00 PM to 1-19-23, 6:40 AM. ’09 Dodge Journey. ’05 Mazda B3000. Suspect(s) gain access to victim’s vehicles through unknown means and takes loss. LOSS: Driver’s license.

• 1-18-23, 5:30 PM to 1-19-23, 7:15 AM, 5000 block of Collis. ’13 Hyundai Sonata. Suspects gain access to victim’s vehicle through unknown means and ransacks vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1Wearing black pants. S2Slender build, wearing reflective shoes. LOSS: None.

• 1-18-23, 7:30 PM to 1-19-23, 8:05 AM, 800 block of Garfield. ’14 Chevrolet Traverse. Suspect(s) gain access to victim’s vehicle through unknown means and take loss. LOSS: Sunglasses, gift cards, U.S. currency.

• 1-18-23, 10:00 PM to 1-19-23, 4:00 AM, 400 block of Prospect. ’12 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 1-19-23, 4:57 AM, 1900 block of Illinois. ’21 Volkswagen. Suspect(s) gain access to victim’s vehicle through unknown means and ransacks vehicle. LOSS: None.

• 1-12-23, 12:00 PM to 1-19-23, 11:30 AM, 1400 block of Oakcrest. ’08 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 1-18-23, 9:30 PM, to 1-19-23, 3:30 PM, 5000 block of Collis. ’19 Subaru Crosstrek. Suspect gains access to victim’s vehicle through unknown means and ransacks vehicle. LOSS: None.

• 1-20-23, 4:45 PM, 400 block of Arroyo. ’98 Nissan Frontier. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Gardening tools. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Gray Nissan Armada.

• 1-20-23, 4:16 PM, 2100 block of Huntington. Suspect takes loss from victim’s porch. LOSS: Parcel package. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, early to mid-40s, medium build, short black hair, wearing a white tshirt, blue jeans, white shoes.

• 1-21-23, 10:00 PM to 10:03 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. LOSS: Food item, miscellaneous items. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, juvenile, blonde, 5’07’’., 120 lbs., wearing a gray jacket, dark colored pants, black backpack.

• 1-22-23, 3:00 AM, 200 block of Oaklawn. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Running shoes.

• 1-23-23, 2:02 AM, 1400 block of Lyndon. Officers respond to a call regarding a catalytic converter theft that had just occurred. Officers stop a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description and find suspects to be in possession of a stolen catalytic converter. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1Male, Hispanic, 42 years, Los Angeles. S2Male, Hispanic, 34 years, Los Angeles.

• 1-13-23, 1000 block of El Centro. ’05 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 1-18-23, 9:30 PM to 1-19-23, 6 AM, 1200 block of Blair. ’16, Toyota Rav4. Vehicle recovered on 1-19-23 by LAPD Hollenbeck.

• 1-18-23, 9 PM to 1-19-23, 8:18 PM, 700 block of Orange Grove. ’13, Kia Optima.

• 1-20-23, 9:20 PM, 2000 block of Meridian. ’15, Hyundai Sonata. Vehicle recovered on 1-23-23 by LAPD Hollenbeck.

POSSESS STOLEN PROPERTY

1-19-22, 5:39 AM, Hanscom/Hill Drive. Witness calls police on two suspects ransacking the interior of victim’s vehicle. Officers arrive and contacts S1 and later S2. Suspects are in possession of various loss that belongs to numerous victims. Suspects are found to have entered several vehicles in the area. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Silver, Toyota Yaris. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1Male, Hispanic, 19 years, Los Angeles. S2Male, Hispanic, 19 years, Los Angeles.

CRIMINAL THREATS

1-22-23, Suspect(s) sends multiple threatening emails to victim.

FRAUD

• 1-10-23, 11:52 AM. Suspect sends victim a text message advising victim of an unauthorized charge on her account and to call a number for assistance. Victim calls the number, which identified itself as the fraud department of a financial services company. Suspect instructs victim to purchase a gift card and to provide the account number and PIN in order to resolve her account issue. Victim complies with suspect’s instructions.

• 1-12-23, 6:00 PM. Suspect cashes a fictitious check with victim’s banking information.

• 12-27-22, 12:00 PM to 1-3-23, 5:00 PM. Suspect alters and cashes victim’s check.

PROWLING/PEEPING

1-21-23, 7 PM, 300 block of Camino Verde. Victim is inside bedroom when suspect enters victim’s residence through an unlocked door. Victim sees suspect peek through an opened door and then flees. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Unknown.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

• 1-12-23, 3:00 PM to 1-19-23, 3:00 PM, 600 block of Stoney (Arroyo Park). Suspect(s) break into storage shed and take loss. LOSS: Electronics, keys.

• 1-19-23, 6:10 PM to 1-20-23, 4:20 PM, 2100 block of Huntington. Suspect damages door and lockbox containing loss. Suspect then enters building with stolen key. LOSS: Key.

• 1-20-23, 10:15 PM to 1-21-23, 8:15 AM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Massage Envy). Suspect(s) gains entry by unknown means and takes loss. LOSS: Safe.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 1-17-23, 2:54 PM, 1400 block of Bank. Victim is inside home when suspect enters victim’s opened garage. Victim hears noises coming from garage and victim confronts suspect inside garage. Suspect flees as victim calls police. LOSS: GPS, fishing pole, eyeglasses, binoculars and vitamins (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 54 years, Los Angeles.

• 1-14-23, 7:30 PM, 2000 block of La Fremontia (Hot Prowl). Victim is on second floor when suspects smashes a rear sliding door to gain entry. Victim hears noises and yells to suspects. Suspects then flee. LOSS: None. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1Male, wearing a facemask, cap, gloves, long pants and hooded sweat jacket. S2Unknown description.
