THEFT

• 12-30-21, 12:30 AM to 7:00 AM, 300 block of Arroyo. ’12 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 12-30-21, 4:55 PM to 5:02 PM, 200 block of Monterey. Suspects force open mailboxes of condominium complex. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Late model 2-door, Blue colored, Toyota Scion 86. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 20 years, 5’06’’ – 5’08’’, 160 – 180 lbs., dark hair with goatee, wearing a black “LA Lakers” cap, black and white “Nike” shoes, black sweat pants, and a black and green pull over jacket with white shirt underneath. S2 – Female, Hispanic, 20 years, 5’04’’ – 5’05’’, 120 – 130 lbs., shoulder length dark hair, dark pants, white and black striped shirt and a black hooded jacket. LOSS: Mail.

• 1-1-22, 10:00 PM to 1-2-22, 11:15 PM, 1400 block of Bank. ’01 Acura TL. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Phone charger, wallet, bank cards, driver’s license, U.S. currency.

• 1-3-22, 11:17 AM to 12:46 PM, 1700 block of Grevelia. ’07 Honda Accord. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

FRAUD

12-28-21, 5:06 PM, to 12-29-21, 11:53 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks. ’17 Honda Civic. Victim purchases vehicle from suspect and is unable to register the vehicle due to an altered vehicle title.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 12-30-21, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 800 block of Magnolia. ’11 Hyundai Sonata. Vehicle recovered by LAPD Southwest on 12-31-21.

• 1-3-22, 9:52 AM to 10:23 AM, 800 block of Fairview. ’15 Honda Civic.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE

12-29-21, 2:24 AM to 3:08 AM, 1300 block of Lyndon. ’21 Mazda CX30. Officers respond to a call regarding a stolen vehicle and find suspects to driving a stolen vehicle from LA. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Female, Black, 32 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 38 years, Hollywood.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

12-30-21, 3:30 AM to 11:30 PM, 1800 block of State. Suspects use an unknown tool to force open front door of apartment complex and take loss from shared mailbox area. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 30 years, wearing a gray sweater. S2 – Female, Hispanic, wearing a gray sweater and pink pants. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Blue or grey Mazda 3 sedan. LOSS: Parcel packages.

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

1-3-22, 11:12 AM to 11:38 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks. Victim is sitting in the courtyard area when suspect hits victim’s head with a rock. Officers locate suspect nearby. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 28 years, transient.

DUI

12-30-21, 7:01 PM to 8:12 PM, Fremont/Hope. Officers respond to a call regarding a traffic collision and find suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 56 years, Los Angeles.

VANDALISM

• 12-28-21, 6:49 PM, 600 block of Milan. Suspect throws a rock through a window of victim’s residence.

• 12-8-21, 3:00 PM to 12-9-21, 8:30 AM, 500 block of Magnolia. Suspect(s) damage victim’s vehicle window.

• 12-30-21, 11:00 AM to 1-1-22, 12:54 AM, 800 block of Park. Suspect(s) damage victim’s vehicle window.
