THEFT

• 8-21-20, 6:40 PM to 11:09 PM, 900 block of Meridian. Suspect(s) tamper with victim’s bicycle and take loss. LOSS: Bicycle wheels.

• 5-20-20, 12:00 AM to 8-20-20, 11:59 PM, 800 block of Mission. ’14 Genuine Buddy. Suspect(s) tamper with victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: License plate.

• 8-24-20, 12:00 AM to 8-26-20, 11:59 PM, 500 block of Magnolia. Suspect(s) cut lock and take loss. LOSS: Bicycles.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

  • 8-21-20, 2:00 PM to 8-27-20, 12:00 PM, 1800 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) gain access into building by removing a window screen. LOSS: Miscellaneous clothing.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• 8-25-20, 2:37 AM to 3:20 AM, Fair Oaks/State. Officer stops suspect for a traffic violation and finds suspect to be in possession of methamphetamine and PCP. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 46 years, Los Angeles.

• 8-26-20, 8:01 PM to 8:30 PM, 2000 block of Hanscom. Officer responds to a call regarding a suspicious subject pulling on car handles and finds suspect to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 33 years, Los Angeles.

• 8-30-20, 3:48 AM to 3:57 AM, Mound/El Centro. Officer contacts and finds suspect to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 29 years, South Pasadena.

POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA

• 8-25-20, 1:50 PM to 2:12 PM, 1400 block of Mission. Officer contacts and finds suspect to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 22 years, transient.

• 8-27-20, 2:15 AM to 2:35 AM, 2000 block of Edgewood. Officer contacts and finds suspect to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 23 years, transient.

FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE

  • 8-25-20, 1:36 PM to 2:27 PM, 1400 block of Mission (Vana Watch and Jewelry). Suspect enters business and attempts to sell a counterfeit wristwatch. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Black Mercedes-Benz. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 30s, heavy set, tattoos on both arms, wearing a white shirt, black pants, black sunglasses, black hat, facemask.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 8-25-20, 4:56 AM to 5:22 AM, 600 block of Grand. ’12 Hyundai Elantra.

• 8-21-20, 12:00 AM to 8-24-20, 11:59 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks. ’12 Chevrolet van (attempt). Suspect(s) attempt to steal victim’s vehicle by tampering with the ignition switch.

OBSCENE/ANNOYING/THREATENING PHONE CALLS

  • 4-1-19, 6:05 PM to 8-25-20, 2:27 PM. Suspect(s) send obscene text messages and make several annoying phone calls to victim.

IDENTITY THEFT/CHECK FRAUD/CREDIT CARD FRAUD

• 7-27-20, 12:00 AM to 8-22-20, 11:59 PM. Suspect uses victim’s identity to fraudulently obtain unemployment benefits.

• 7-21-20, 12:00 AM. Suspect uses victim’s information to open an unauthorized account.

• 8-17-20, 12:00 AM. Suspect uses victim’s information to fraudulently obtain employment.

VANDALISM

• 8-21-20, 3:00 AM to 7:55 AM, 400 block of Mission. Suspect(s) damage victim’s mailbox.

• 8-22-20, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, 1800 block of Peterson. Suspect(s) damage victim’s mailbox.

• 8-28-20, 8:14 AM, 1900 block of Primrose. ’13 Toyota Prius. Suspect shatters victim’s rear driver side window by shooting a metal pellet. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: White van. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White.

• 8-27-20, 10:00 PM to 8-29-20, 11:00 AM, 1700 block of Oxley. ’19 Yamaha R6. Suspect(s) damage victim’s vehicle by cutting multiple cables.

ASSAULTS

  • 8-30-20, 12 PM, 1000 block of El Centro.
