RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 8-13-23, 9 AM to 11:30 AM, 1400 block of Alhambra Road. Suspect(s) gains entry       through an unlocked rear door. LOSS: Credit cards and sewing machine.

• 8-14-23, 4 PM to 8-15-23, 10 AM, 1000 block of El Centro. Suspect(s) enter
subterranean garage and cut padlock securing loss. LOSS: Electric tricycle.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE

8-19-23, 2:32 PM, Orange Grove/110 freeway. ‘19, Kia Soul. Officers respond to an     automated license plate reader alert of a stolen vehicle. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male,   Juvenile.

AUTO BURGLARY

8-8-23, 8:30 PM to 8-9-23, 8 AM, 300 block of Monterey. ’16, Lexus CT. Suspect(s) makes   entry into victim’s vehicle by unknown means. LOSS: Shoes, sunglasses and clothes.

THEFT

• 8-11-23, unknown times, 1700 block of Bank. Suspect(s) takes loss from parcel     package.  LOSS: Cell phone.

• 8-11-23, 10 AM to 8-14-23, 10 AM, 300 block of Alta Vista. Suspect(s) takes loss from   victim’s mailbox. LOSS: Mail.

• 8-15-23, 1:40 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect enters store and takes loss,   then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Miscellaneous items (recovered). SUSPECT   ARRESTED: Male, White, 42 years, Santa Monica.

• 8-15-23, 10 PM to 8-16-23, 3:55 PM, 1800 block of Court. ’03, Mercedes C240.   Suspect(s) removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: License plates.

• 8-14-23, 8 PM to 8-15-23, 7 AM, 1700 block of Huntington. ’23, Toyota Tacoma.   Suspect(s) removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Trunk lid.

• 8-14-23, 8:30 PM to 8-15-14, 10:50 AM, 2000 block of Marengo. ’15, Toyota Prius.   Suspect(s) cuts and removes loss victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 8-15-23, 1:42 AM, 300 block of Pasadena. ’13, Toyota Camry. Suspects cuts and   removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
 SUSPECT VEHICLE: Black, Dodge Charger. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION:
S1 – Male, Black or Hispanic, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with large
swoosh (Nike) on the front, dark pants and a facemask. S2 – Male, Hispanic, wearing a   grey hooded jacket and dark pants. S3 – Male, Black or Hispanic, wearing dark clothing   and a facemask. S4 – Driver of suspect vehicle, not seen.

• 8-15-23, 2:30 AM, 1100 block of Diamond. ’10, Toyota Prius. Victim is inside home when   they hear noises coming from their driveway. Victim sees suspects drive away. Victim   discovers suspects cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic   converter.   SUSPECT VEHICLE: Black, Dodge Charger.

• 8-14-23, 8 PM to 8-15-23, 7 AM, 1200 block of Stratford. ’15, Toyota Prius. Suspect(s)   cuts and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 8-14-23, 8 PM to 8-15-23, 8:50 AM, 1100 block of Hope. ’15, Toyota Prius. Suspect(s)   cuts and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 8-15-23, 8 AM to 8:10 AM, 1800 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) enters victim’s   unlocked vehicle and takes loss. LOSS: Keys.

• 8-14-23, 10 PM to 8-15-23, 6:30 PM, 1700 block of Diamond. Toyota Prius. Suspect(s)   cuts and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 8-18-23, 8:42 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspects enters store and takes   loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Alcohol and food. SUSPECT VEHICLE:   Dark gray, Honda or Toyota. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: (4) Male, Juveniles, wearing black  facemasks.

• 8-21-23, 5 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect enters store and takes loss,   then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Beer.
SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 31 years, Los Angeles.

• 8-21-23, 7:30 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspects enters store and takes   loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Cosmetics and food (recovered).   SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, 35 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Female, 33 years, Los   Angeles.

IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD

• 8-3-23 to 8-15-23. Victim and suspect were in a relationship but broke up. Victim moved   out but still receives mail at suspect’s residence. Suspect opens victim’s mail and cashes   loss. LOSS: Check/cash.

• 8-2-23, 4:30 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Victim completes an ATM   transaction and leaves ATM card behind. Suspect(s) takes loss and uses it to make an   unauthorized withdrawal. LOSS: ATM card and cash.

• 8-13-23 to 8-17-23. Victim responds to an internet website advertising for a home for   rent. Victim contacts suspect who asks for a down payment for home. Victim complies   and victim later discovers suspect does not own rental property. LOSS: Cash.

• 8-18-23. Suspect(s) uses victim’s business information to open a Square account.

VANDALISM

• 8-15-23, 8 PM to 8-16-23, 7 AM, ’21, Subaru Impreza. Suspect(s) enters victim’s   unlocked vehicle and damages rear view mirror and cracks windshield.

• 8-19-23, unknown time to 11:40 AM, 1600 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) damages   windowpane.

DUI

• 8-17-23, 11:30 PM, Monterey/Fremont. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and is   found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic,   51 years, San Gabriel.

• 8-18-23, 11:25 PM, Orange Grove/110 freeway. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation   and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male,   Hispanic, 34 years, Northridge.

• 8-19-23, 1:33 AM, Fremont/Alhambra. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and is   found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic,   42 years, Pomona.

• 8-20-23, 2 AM, 100 block of Pasadena. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and is   found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic,   34 years, Los Angeles.
