Congratulations to SPHS senior, Alicia Wilgoren, who has been selected as a 2023 Posse Foundation Scholar and plans to attend Kalamazoo College in Michigan in the fall. The Posse Foundation annually awards four-year, full-tuition, merit-based scholarships to attend one of Posse’s Los Angeles Partner Institutions.
Applicants undergo a dynamic assessment process that reviews their leadership experience, intellectual energy, and commitment to pursuing higher education. Wilgoren will be part of a “posse” from the Los Angeles area at Kalamazoo College and will participate in foundation-sponsored workshops, meetings and peer collaboration groups beginning during her senior year and continuing through her college graduation.
