South Pasadena High School girls soccer team defeated their rival La Canada High School Spartans by a score of 3-0.

The match, played on the Tigers home turf, was dominated by the Tigers from the start in a rain delayed game on Friday at Ray Solari stadium. The Tigers are rated as one of the top girls teams in the San Gabriel Valley.
Tigers are 3-1 overall in league play.
Friday was Alumni Day and legendary former coach, Tom Ashby, was in the stands, joined by past members of his championships teams.

SPHS Girls Soccer also conducted a successful equipment drive for the charity Soccer Without Borders, an organization that uses the game of soccer as a vehicle to provide soccer training, educational tutoring, and community to refugees and immigrants in America and girls internationally.

A big shout out and thank you to SPHS Girls Soccer and to all those who participated in the drive.
