After a pair of losses to open the non-league season, South Pasadena High had rebounded with a victory before suffering its third loss of the season, this time falling 28-20 to Heritage Christian in Northridge Saturday night.

The Tigers are now 1-3 on the year, dropping a pair of contests to Lincoln of Los Angeles (37-20) and Boron of Kern County (33-14) in successive weeks to kickoff the 2021 fall campaign before winning big against Marshall 42-0 in their third outing.

“We got behind early with mistakes by special teams,” said Tigers Coach, Jeff Chi. “We fought back and had a chance to tie at the end, 4th and 4 about the 15 yard line. Couldn’t execute well enough to get the first and turned over on downs.”
