The South Pasadena Fire Department, in cooperation with ABC7, CVS Drugstores and other Southland Fire Departments, is collecting toys for their 25th annual Spark of Love Toy Drive.
The toy drive provides toys and sports equipment this holiday season for children who would otherwise go without.
Now through December 24, community members can make a difference in a child’s life by dropping off a new, unwrapped toy or sports equipment at designated collection boxes in the city. Boxes are located in the lobbies of South Pasadena City Hall, and police and fire departments.
Over the years, the Spark of Love Toy Drive has collected more than ten million toys for underserved children and teens.
The “Spark of Love Toy Drive” takes place in November and December every year. With love and support of donors and sponsors, kids across Southern California receive a new toy each holiday season.
Toys and sports equipment can be dropped off at the South Pasadena Fire Department or at any local fire station. Firefighters from Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties along with Los Angeles City firefighters will collect the gifts and distribute them to underserved children in our local communities.
“On behalf of the South Pasadena Fire Department, we would like to thank you for your continued support and have a happy holiday.” Said Justin Miller, engineer/firefighter/paramedic for the South Pasadena Fire Department.
