For art lovers on your holiday gift list: The South Pasadena Arts Council (SPARC) presents its annual Holiday Art Show and Sale, featuring watercolor and oil paintings, collage, ceramics, and soft sculptures by noted professional artists, at the SPARC Gallery in South Pasadena, CA, with two opening events, Dec. 3 and Dec. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Featured artists: Victoria Arriola, Michael Campagna, Elaine Carhartt, Laurie Hendricks, Kim Lesak, Daniel Peacock, Shelley Stephens, Rebecca Tager, Cynthia Thiel, Val Trimarchi, Jeanie Joe and Eric Joe.
Also available for purchase at the show: “The Art Box Poems,” a book of poetry by Rick Leddy, inspired by the transformation of South Pasadena’s utility boxes into unique works of art by commissioned artists, the culmination of SPARC’s collaborative project with the City.
The SPARC Gallery is located at 1121 Mission St., South Pasadena, inside the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. The Holiday Art Show and Sale will run through Jan. 7.
