South Pasadena Seniors | Flu Vaccine Clinic September 23

Residents are urged to get their flu shots on Wednesday, September 23, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., at the South Pasadena Senior Center by appointment only

The South Pasadena Senior Center will host a flu vaccine Clinic on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 starting at 8:30 am through 11 am.

The vaccine is essential for protecting individuals and communities from vaccine-preventable diseases and outbreaks during the COVID -19 pandemic. Vaccine will be available only by appointment.

The clinic is provided by Huntington Hospital Community Outreach Program.

Those making appointments must meet the following requirements:

• Cannot be seriously ill at that time, including free from fever or chills, cough, congestion or runny nose, shortness of breath or have difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

• Must be 55 years of age and older.

• Not allergic to eggs or the influenza vaccine; Not have a history of Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Walk-ins will not be accepted. Masks are required. Social distancing and CDC guidelines will be followed.
