Beginning Wednesday, January 11, 2023, the South Pasadena Public Library’s Conversational English Group will resume. The group meets Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Ray Bradbury Conference Room, on the second floor of the Library located at 1100 Oxley Street, South Pasadena. The group is open to all adult English language learners who want to practice their spoken English. No advance registration is required—participants may just drop in. The group is led by a highly qualified native English speaker. Masks are required.
In addition to the Conversation Group, the Library supports English language learners with a variety of English as a Second Language (E.S.L.) materials that can be borrowed from the collection, as well as with online resources like the language learning app Mango Languages.
The South Pasadena Public Library is located at 1100 Oxley Street in South Pasadena. The Library Community Room is located at 1115 El Centro Street. The Library is open Monday, Friday, Saturday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
