South Pasadena Public Library | 2021 Bookmark Contest Winners

Each winner’s bookmark will be reproduced and will be distributed at the Library during the Summer Reading Program

This year over 70 children and teens participated in the South Pasadena Public Library’s Bookmark Contest. The theme for the Bookmark Contest was “Reading Colors Your World,” which is also the theme for the upcoming 2021 Summer Reading Program. Using their imaginations, the children and teens created colorful, unique, and inspiring bookmarks.

After the conclusion of voting by library staff, we are pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 Bookmark Contest:

Claire, Grade 9, “Growing Your World Through Reading”

Each winner’s bookmark will be reproduced and will be distributed at the Library during the Summer Reading Program, which begins on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

The Library would like to offer congratulations to the winners and thank all the youth who submitted their art as well as the contest’s sponsors, the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, Inc.

The South Pasadena Public Library is located at 1100 Oxley Street in South Pasadena. Although the library building is currently closed to the public for the health and safety of our community, we are offering Library Takeout, a no-contact check-out and pick-up service.

Takeout hours are Monday-Thursday, 1:00-7:00 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 1:00-5:00 p.m.; Sunday, closed. The library is currently working toward being able to safely offer modified in-person services.
