Free Self Defense Class for Teens April 6 | South Pasadena Police Department

The South Pasadena Police Department and Tracy Macrum, self-defense consultant, are conducting a two and a half hour self-defense class this Saturday, April 6, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the War Memorial Building in South Pasadena.

As part of the ongoing series of courses provided to South Pasadenans, this week’s class is catered towards girls aged 14-17 years of age.

Instruction includes:

  • dialogue designed to inspire girls to develop confidence
  • knowledge, skills and tools to identify, avoid and survive an attack
  • “do what works” self-defense techniques taught by SPPD officers.
