
The South Pasadena Little League10U softball All-Stars are the 2025 Southern California State Champions following an impressive run through District 18 and State Tournaments.
The Tigers went 7-1 through the two tournaments, outscoring opponents 54-11 along the way. The team showed resilience in battling back from a loss in its opening game in the State Championship Tournament, eventually avenging that with a 4-1 win over Vaquero Little League in the tournament final.
SPLL was led in the circle by pitcher Camryn Hager, who recorded 111 strikeouts against just four walks in 42 innings pitched on her way to being named the team’s Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. First baseman Paulinha Lynch led the Tigers at the plate, hitting .733. The team displayed impressive late-game hitting and solid defense throughout the run to the championship.
Catcher Sophia Daley, centerfielder Camila Franco, shortstop Cooper Villaroel and right fielders Alice Nickel and Jojo Flores all provided clutch hits that won games or extended late leads.
Outfielder Brooklyn Sloan scored the winning run in an extra-inning win. Third baseman Grace Garza and second baseman Everly McKinney led the defensive effort for the Tigers. And outfielders Jayleen Nimmagadda, Sarah Ghaly and Emily Kim all scored multiple runs and were key contributors for the Tigers.
This is South Pasadena Little League’s second 10U Southern California State Championship and first since 2018.
