South Pasadena High’s girls’ water polo team is just thinking about winning its final two regular season games this week.
Then it will let the chips fall.
The Tigers currently trail La Canada (6-0), and Temple City (5-2) with a 4-2 record. But South Pas has a chance to move up in the standings with a pair of wins over Temple City at home on Tuesday afternoon and against La Canada on the road Thursday. Both matches start at 3:30 p.m.
It won’t be an easy task as the Tigers fell to Temple City 7-1 the last time the two teams met on Feb. 3. South Pasadena dropped a 13-7 contest to La Canada on Jan. 23.
