In late 2019 The Hayes Law Firm, along with the South Pasadena Chamber and Farmers Market, set out on a mission to help the South Pasadena community accomplish its goal of reducing single-use plastics. After the successful launch of the Give 1 Take reusable bag program, they were forced to pause the program due to the pandemic.
Now, in June 2022, the Hayes Law Firm is proud to announce they are relaunching the Give 1 Take 1 Reusable Bag Program in partnership with the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, South Pasadena Farmers Market, and joining us this time around is Nicole’s Market & Cafe!
THE MISSION OF GIVE 1 TAKE 1 REUSABLE BAG PROGRAM
The purpose of this program is to help reduce the use of single-use plastic bags and create a more environmentally sustainable community.
Through education, collaboration, and a little creativity, this program hopes to help set the tone for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly community. What better way to start making a positive impact, than in your very own community?
President and CEO of the South Pasadena Chamber and Farmers Market, Laurie Wheeler said, “We are very excited to have the Give 1, Take 1 program back at the farmers market. It is a great program, and we are happy to be part of it. We have already received a lot of positive feedback; the community seems to really support the mission of reducing single-use plastics.”
“As fellow residents of the South Pasadena community, we take great pride in our community and want to set a positive example for others doing business in our community. When we work together, we can accomplish great things.” says attorney William Hayes of Hayes Law Firm.
