The South Pasadena Senior Center, located at 1102 Oxley Street in South Pasadena, invites senior citizens to take advantage of programs and services offered to enhance their quality of life daily

The following will be offered from November 1-8 at the South Pasadena Senior Center.

Friday, Nov 1 10:30 a.m. – Carmichael & Mercer Music Program and Sing along – Join us for a morning of music and history of Carmichael and Mercer presented by Bob Lipson.

Monday, November 4, 10 a.m. –Natural Approach to Inflammation – Presented by Bill Shuttic offered to members of the Center.

Tuesday, November 5, 11 a.m.– Stroke Support Group, lead by the Stroke Association.

Wednesday, November 6, 9:30 a.m. – Crochet & Knitting – Class will continue this year. Learn to create fun gifts or bring your own projects. Instructor: Jean Shono, $5 per class.

Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – Walking Group, exercise with friends and then meet for coffee. Group meets in lobby of Senior Center.

Friday, November 8 11:45 a.m. – Veteran’s Program – speakers, luncheon and entertainment. Sponsored by Gently Guided & Home Instead Senior Care. Reservations needed.

Friday, November 8, 1:30 p.m. – (time change) Friday Cinema, Keeping Mum (R) (2005), Comedy Crime (1h 39min). Senior citizens welcome.

Lunch is served Monday through Friday by reservation. Cost per person $2.75 for onsite and reservations are necessary. Home delivered meals are offered to those that are frail or recovering from illness, cost per meal $3, contact the office for any application.
