The following will be offered at the South Pasadena Senior Center from January 6 to 10, 2020.
Monday, January 6, 10 a.m. – Detoxing – Learn the pros and cons of detoxing and how to cleanse the body naturally. Presented by William Shuttic, Natural Health Practitioner.
Tuesday, January 7, 11 a.m. – Stoke Support Group – Meets Tuesdays (expect 2nd Tuesday). Meet survivors, share courage, change focus to celebrate progress. Led by volunteer Reams Freedman with the Stroke Association.
Wednesday, January 8, 8:30 a.m. – Glucose & Blood Pressure – Huntington Hospital nurse Kathy Eastwood is available to provide glucose test and blood pressure screenings. Fasting 1.5 hours is required. Walk-ins welcome!
Wednesday, January 8, 9:30 a.m. – Crochet & Knitting – Class will continue this year. Learn to create fun gifts or bring your own projects. Instructor: Jean Shono, $5 per class.
Wednesday, January 8, 10:30 a.m. – Chair Yoga – Offered by Huntington Hospital. Class is limited. Call to register.
Thursday, January 9, 10 a.m. – Watercolor Class – Volunteer Ellie Kim returns to teach beginners how to paint with watercolor. Limit to attendees. Open to members
Friday, January 10, 1 p.m. – Friday Cinema featuring “Red Joan” a 2019 film. All senior citizens welcome.

Cost per person $2.75 for onsite and reservations are necessary. Home delivered meals are offered to those that are frail or recovering from illness, cost per meal $3, contact the office for any application.
