At the School Board Meeting on Wednesday, February 13, the board for the South Pasadena Sea Tigers – a non-profit organization that is dedicated to training and serving the community through swimming – made a large donation of $6,500.00 to the South Pasadena Unified School District.
Dozens of kids donning sea tigers swimming robes, t-shirts and other Sea Tiger related attire filled the room to capacity along with their parents to watch as the school board graciously accepted the check whose memo line read: ‘Donation for good causes’.
With smiles aplenty board members Geoff Yantz, Jon Primuth, Dr. Suzie Abajian, Ruby Kalra, Zahir Robb and Dr. Michele Kipke huddled together with the Sea Tigers for a group photo.
