Since the inception of this grant program, over 108 schools have been awarded grants and have successfully implemented innovative and creative projects into the science curriculum through hands-on activities. In total, the program has impacted approximately 17,000 students and has provided 169 grants equaling $145,000 in funding. Among the projects funded are the effectiveness of water filters, water efficient gardens and water quality studies in their local community.
