It a yearly ritual that brings out the competitive nature of both teams as South Pasadena High’s annual PowerPuff flag football game is set to get underway Friday, March 8, at Solari Stadium.
Action gets underway a 7 p.m. in the key matchup between the seniors and juniors.
The junior squad hopes to avenge a 44-12 drubbing suffered a year ago as senior Riley Segal had six, yes, a half dozen touchdowns on the night.
The games was somewhat close at the half, 26-12, before the seniors blew it open in the final two quarters.
The two teams are coached players involved in the high school boy’s football program.
